How Was Our Strategy Developed? In May 2024, we developed the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy for Gdańsk. This is a concrete action plan that sets goals in three key areas: social, environmental, and economic. Each goal is supported by specific actions and measurable indicators that help track progress.


Strategy Development Process
  • Industry Consultations: We gathered feedback from over 170 companies and organizations in the tourism industry. 50 of them took part in a survey to share their insights.
  • Residents’ Voice: 1,724 Gdańsk residents took part in the survey—their input was extremely important to us.
  • Visitors' Feedback: In 2023, 1,464 visitors shared their insights about Gdańsk’s eco-friendly offerings.
