One of the key priorities of the Gdańsk Tourism Organization is to spread tourism across the city, promoting attractive areas beyond the city center—such as the shipyard district, beaches, historic neighborhoods, and the unique Sobieszewo Island. Another priority is extending the tourism season by showcasing Gdańsk’s year-round offer to visitors.  

 


With this in mind, we launched the “GDAŃSK. Authentically.” Promotional campaign. Its goal is to position Gdańsk as a destination open to everyone looking for genuine experiences and wanting to discover places known only to locals. “GDAŃSK. Authentically.” highlights the proximity of the city’s modern infrastructure to nature, along with opportunities to enjoy leisure and business activities year-round—including culinary tourism, winter swimming, and workations. Following the global “coolcation” trend, we encourage visitors to explore cooler destinations and embrace unpredictable weather as an advantage. In an era of record-breaking heatwaves and AI-generated imagery, authenticity is a truly unique value.
