Promotion of gastronomy based on local, regional, national, and seasonal cuisine
We promote cuisine based on local, regional, and seasonal ingredients. This approach not only attracts visitors throughout the year but also encourages them to explore the city more deeply—through its unique flavors. An important step in this direction is joining the Michelin project. In our Tastes of Gdańsk project (link to internal section), local chefs bring 19th-century recipes to life with a modern twist, with menus that change with the seasons. These efforts strengthen the local tourism industry and build the city’s brand.

Increase in the percentage of visitors actively engaging with the city’s offerings
We aim to attract conscious visitors who choose Gdańsk for a reason and truly want to experience what the city has to offer. Our goal is to encourage visitors to actively engage with Gdańsk’s museums, events, attractions, culture, and nature. In leisure tourism, we focus on developing culinary and active tourism, promoting the region’s natural assets that can be enjoyed year-round and beyond the city center. In business tourism, we encourage event participants to extend their stay and discover more than just the conference room.
