By organizing the New Trends in Tourism conference, we have been proving for years that it’s possible to create events based on the principles of sustainable development—without compromising on quality, comfort, or inspiring content. Everything we do is built on the values of local focus, responsibility, accessibility, and authenticity.

As part of the artistic program, we feature performers from Gdańsk, including Tusse, Edzio Raper, and other local artists. We support the city’s culture and young talents, giving the event an authentic Gdańsk identity.
The conference is organized by the team at the Gdańsk Tourism Organization, without involving external agencies—supporting local talent and expertise. This is an event created by the people of Gdańsk, for the industry, with the future in mind.

The conference takes place at the European Solidarity Centre—a venue awarded the Green Key certification, which guarantees high environmental standards. It is not only a modern and accessible space but also a symbolic place, representing Gdańsk’s heritage and the history of Solidarity. Learn more about the ECS
During the event, we focus on environmentally friendly practices. We completely eliminate plastic—you won’t find PET bottles here. Instead, we serve tap water and use reusable dishes. We aim to reduce waste, which is why we don’t offer traditional giveaways, and all registration and the event program are available exclusively online. Lanyards are returnable and intended for reuse. Our badges contain seeds that participants can plant afterward. Any leftover food is donated to food banks to make sure nothing goes to waste.
We are committed to full accessibility: we provide a Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter, We ask participants about their specific needs (mobility, dietary, sensory),we offer online participation to make the content accessible from anywhere, the European Solidarity Centre is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
Catering for the conference is provided by local restaurants participating in the “Tastes of Gdańsk” project, which:use seasonal and locally sourced ingredients,support short supply chains,operate with a focus on responsible gastronomy.
