Throughout its thousand-year history, Gdansk has never been so closely connected to Europe. Planes of the following airlines land at the Lech Walesa Airport: Eurowings, Finnair, KLM, Lufthansa, Norwegian Air, LOT, Ryanair, SAS and Wizzair. Charter traffic is also steadily growing. In total, you can reach Gdansk from over 60 cities! Some carriers (including low-cost airlines) offer excellent prices. Provided you buy your tickets in advance, it is possible to fly to Gdansk for less than a hundred zlotys. The most direct flight connections run between Gdansk with the following cities and countries:

Reach us by train or plane

Gdansk is an important railway hub, with dozens of trains passing through each day. Thanks to our modernised infrastructure, reaching Gdansk by train has never been quicker and more comfortable. Pendolino trains need only 2 hours and 40 minutes to arrive in Gdansk from Warsaw, and will soon need even less. Neptune’s City can be reached from Krakow in 5 hours and 15 minutes, and a little more than 3 hours from Poznan.

Getting to Gdansk by car is also stress-free. The A1 motorway connects our city with Torun and Lodz, and will also soon connect us with Katowice. The dynamic growth of the expressway network makes for a comfortable journey to Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Krakow and Lublin, and the experience is improving with each passing year. Lodz is only 3 hours away, Warsaw is 4h and Krakow is 6.5h.
