The Tourist Card makes it easy to buy tickets, public transport information is clear, and the city’s extensive cycling infrastructure and bike-sharing system allow people to move around actively and sustainably. This is also important for the MICE sector, with most hotels and venues located within walking distance.
 

Reduction of waste generated in connection with tourist services, particularly single-use plastics
Reducing the amount of waste generated by tourists is very important to residents. We work to minimize waste produced by visitors and event participants. We promote drinking tap water, using reusable bottles, biodegradable materials, and new technologies such as apps and QR codes instead of printed materials. Together with our partners, we educate and show that it’s possible to do things differently—modern and responsibly.
 

Reduction of food waste
This is a problem that can be prevented, especially in business tourism, large meetings, and conferences. That’s why we aim to establish long-term partnerships with food banks and connect them with event organizers, ensuring that all surplus food reaches those in need.
